Hello, I just thought I'd share with you a few small things that I've had obsessions with over the last month.
(Sorry photos were rushed..)
and Dermalogica Clean Start Mouth Lip Shine.
Colour Couture Eyeliner & Mascara
I got this for christmas as a gift and honestly I am in love with it! The eyeliner is a pencil which I prefer using as when I use liquid it gets very messy! The only downside that I would have to say about the pencil is that it is difficult to get sharp and has to be sharpened an awful lot! My favourite thing to do is to apply a tiny bit of liquid colour couture eyeliner under my eye and then apply pencil eyeliner over the top to spread and keep the liquid eyeliner look (I recommend this if you prefer the liquid eyeliner look).
I also love the colour couture mascara as when you apply it your eyelashes are literally jet back and also because it's not one of those mascaras that when you apply it you have to keep going over it as one layer of this is enough. The only downside to this product is that I find is that it makes your eyelashes look a little bit spiky as the brush is not thick so I like to get an old big mascara brush (like the ones from Avon) and go over the top of the first layer of colour couture mascara. I guess it would be sensible just to buy a good thick brush black mascara.
Mac Studio Fix Fluid
Mac Studio Fix Fluid... where do I start? I'm absolutely head over heels in love with this product! If you apply it right (circular motions and only a little) it makes your skin look matt. The coverage is good but not the best however it visually minimises the size of pores and has a flawless effect. With this product and any foundation you need to make sure that you buy the right colour for your skin. With Mac Studio Fix Foundation the palest is 15 but there are two types NC15 and NW15.. so which one do you go for ? Well NC15 is for people with yellow undertones and NW15 is for people with pink undertones. There are lots of websites on how you can tell what colour undertone you have. Do not get a yellow undertone if you have pink undertones and vice versa because otherwise you'll end up looking like a oompa loompa. I bought the NC15 and I wish that I had bought the NW15 as I have pink undertones. The only downside for this product is that it's a little pricey however it lasts a long time so it is definitely worth it. I would recommend this product to anyone as long as you don't use to much otherwise it can look too thick.
Dermalogica Clean Start Mouth Lip Shine
I love this. End of. I love Clean Start products all together because I find that they just work so well. They are brilliant. To be honest this product is probably my least favourite out of all the Clean Start products that I have bought but this is probably because I find it to be just the same as any other lip balm but it's just a lip product so what do you expect ? However I continue to use this product and have an obsession with it as it tastes and smells d-e-licious just like oranges (one of my favourite tastes). Downsides - pricey and just the same as any other lip products. I would only recommend this product if you have a lot of spare money on your hands otherwise just go for another lip product that contains Vitamin E (Vitamin E is brilliant for dry skin).
I got this as a gift also. When you saw the title the funny voices inside your heads probably screamed FAKE TAN which some of you would have screamed in a positive way but others of you would have screamed it in doubt and despair. Right just just to clarify, even though ST. Tropez is widely known for being one of the best fake tan companies, this is NOT fake tan it is an illuminator. You are meant to apply this to areas such as your arm and face (not all over). What it does is help the light reflect off of you in a certain way to give your skin a beautiful look. I sometimes apply this to my upper cheek to give it a shine. The negative of this product is that if you use to much it can look very white and glittery so only use a little bit. I recommend this product to those of you who have spare money.
BAKING.. UHOH
Another obsession I've been having is baking which is a bad thing as those of you who know me will know that I am an absolutely TERRIBLE cook. You can see from the oven that the chocolate chips have burnt a lil bit. As you can see this obsession is not going well as I keep saying to my self hey OMG I should cook cookies or pancakes or cupcakes, etc. What happens is I start cooking but again those of you who know me know that I have the attention span of a fish. My attention span is ridiculously low! I don't even get half way through before I get distracted then my boyfriend ends up having to continue the cooking for me as I can't spend one cooking session in a kitchen following instructions.. oops...! He's never too pleased (He is an excellent cook by the way).
I'm starting to think that I need to say Goodbye to this obsession.
What are you current obsessions?
